Dojo Izakaya is proud to announce its official reopening on October 12, 2024, following its exciting feature in the renowned Frame Magazine for its cutting-edge design and unique dining concept. The restaurant blends the authentic atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Izakaya with the warmth and inclusivity of a family-friendly dining space, making it the first of its kind in Belgium.
Designed in collaboration with Vanessa and Joris from ecoBirdy, the restaurant’s interior reflects sustainable innovation and Japanese tradition. Remarkably, the entire design was conceptualized in just five days and constructed within two, a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship of Guy Batten and the entire team involved.
At Dojo Izakaya, we offer more than just exceptional Japanese cuisine—we provide a community-driven dining experience where families can enjoy meals together in a casual and budget-friendly environment.
